Extraordinary! You must see in person to truly appreciate the detail. She is a joy to behold! The detailed flora and fauna is mesmerizing. The artistic talent of Oberon Zell cannot be praised enough for this extraordinary statue. I’ve owned my statue for several months. She was originally intended for my office at work but I couldn’t bear to take her out of the house. Now she sits on my desk at home where I can enjoy the evolution of species, the Goddess’ comforting gaze, the reminder that Gaia is the Mother of All. Gorgeous! Got this as a gift and she could not be more beautiful. The photos definitely do not do her justice. In person the colors and details are stunning. The sculpture also comes with a pamphlet description with facts on her origins and the artist’s background. Perfect size for a shelf or alter and wonderful for meditation!

I love this statue. She is a real solid earth mother, not a delicate, pretty, frail little waif. This is GAIA! Her stomach is pregnant with our planet. Her body is incised with carvings of sea creatures, leaves, and trees. Other creatures climb her hair which is flowing leaves. One breast seems celestial and the other is ‘fractured’ bronze. I keep noticing more and more as I look. Really nice statue (approx. 7″ high, btw). I was upset at the price when I first saw this, but now, I’m not regretting the cost. Really well conceived.
